What is the Late Key Waiver?
On moving day, if keys to your new property are not available at the agreed time, waiting time charges would normally apply. The Late Key Waiver protects you from these additional costs — giving you one less thing to worry about on what can be a stressful day.
If we are unable to begin unloading your belongings because keys have not been released, waiting time charges would usually apply from 4:00 pm. With this waiver in place, those charges are covered.
Common Causes of Delay
Late release of keys from estate agents
Late property completion or transfer of funds
Occupants still moving out of your new home
Missing or lost keys
Awaiting authorisation to access the property
Previous removal company running behind schedule
Please note: The Late Key Waiver does not cover situations where we are required to redeliver your goods on another day due to access not being granted on your move date.
Booking requirement: The Late Key Waiver must be requested at the time of booking and cannot be added after your move has been confirmed.
