When moving day goes wrong
Most moves are booked weeks ahead. Some are not. A chain that was stuck suddenly completes. A removal firm cancels two days before. A tenancy ends sooner than planned, or a family emergency means someone needs moving this week.
We cannot promise to be free every day, and nobody honest can. What we do is keep some of the diary flexible for short-notice work, work seven days a week, and give you a straight answer quickly so you can make other plans if we cannot help.
Same-week moves
Smaller moves and man and van jobs are the easiest to fit in at short notice.
Another firm cancelled
If your booked mover has let you down, call us with the details and the date.
Completion moved
Keys released early or late, or the date jumped forward. We work around it where we can.
Somewhere to put it
If the new place is not ready, short-term storage can bridge the gap.

Can you move me today or tomorrow?
Sometimes. It depends on the size of the move and what is already booked. Smaller moves are much easier to fit in. Call 07766 265663 and we will tell you straight away.
Do you charge more for short notice?
You get a fixed price based on the job, the same as any other move. If an urgent slot means rearranging the day, we will say so when we quote rather than adding it on afterwards.
What if my completion is delayed on the day?
If we are already loaded, we can wait with you for the keys or put your things into storage until the dates line up.
My removal company has cancelled. Can you help?
Call us with both addresses, the date and a rough list of what is moving. If we can cover it, we will give you a fixed price on the call.
